Steven Crowder was born in July 1987 in Detroit, Michigan. Crowder’s mother was French Canadian, and when he was three years old, his family relocated to the Montreal suburb of Greenfield Park, Quebec, Canada, where he spent the rest of his childhood.

Crowder attended Centennial Regional High School before returning to the United States at the age of 18.
