Jessica Collins was born on April 1, 1971, in Schenectady, New York. She went to Amsterdam High School in Amsterdam, New York. After completing her school, she took part in the Miss New York Teen USA where she won. She also competed for the Miss Teen USA pageant in 1988 but came as the first runner up.
Collins then did her higher education at London’s Royal National Theatre Studio and the Howard Fine Acting Studio in Los Angeles.
