Brian Kilmeade was born on May 7, 1964, in NYC, New York. Brian went to Massapequa High School in  Massapequa, New York and graduated from high school in 1982. After that, he graduated from Long Island University Post in Brookville, New York. He received his Bachelor of Arts from LIU Post.

Brian began his TV career as a correspondence agent on Channel One News. Afterwards, Brian served as an anchor and eventually the host of KHSL-TV in California. He co-hosted The Jim Brown Show on KLSD, an all-sports radio network after that.

From 1997 he went from being a freelance sports anchor for WVIT in CT. Then working as a sideline reporter for MSG Network, covering the major soccer team – New York/New Jersey Metrostars at the Meadowlands.
